About the Book

“Swap safety for curiosity and discover how energizing that choice can be.”

Change isn’t slowing down. It shapes how we lead, parent, and live. The question isn’t whether you can keep up. It’s how you’ll move through it.

This guide shows why an Explorer Mindset fuels happiness, resilience, and forward momentum. You’ll find practical ways to experiment every day, adapt on the fly, transform setbacks into springboards, and ask bigger questions that pull you toward purpose.

About the Author
Jean-Philippe Gauthier

Jean-Philippe Gauthier

Author · Leader · Coach

Jean-Philippe (JP) Gauthier is a father, a coach, and a work in progress. Over a thirty-year career, including more than a decade at Google, he led teams through constant change and learned, often the hard way, what it actually takes to stay curious, adaptable, and resilient when life doesn’t go as planned.

He’ll be the first to tell you he’s no natural-born risk-taker. Just an ordinary man who developed this mindset to navigate life’s inevitable twists.

He wrote this book out of a deep desire to guide his children, Anaïs and Louis, and his nephews, Jules and Samuel. The fact that you’re holding it is a happy accident he’s grateful for.
